Friday Favourites – Favourite Side Characters

Happy Friday everyone! Friday Favourites was originally created by Kibby from Something of the Book, but is now hosted by Lorraine from Geeky Galaxy. Make sure you check out both of their blogs, and join in with your own Friday Favourites!

I am FINALLY getting back into the swing of things… just in time for me to become super busy with school again! Great timing right. I’m going to do my best to at least keep up with my Friday Favourites posts.

Today’s topic is favourite side characters, and do I have some great ones for you!

Bone Goat from The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd-Jones – Yes. That’s right. A goat. GOAT! I freaking love this goat. It is loyal, determined, sassy, and perfect. The rest of the book was pretty great too!

Cricket from LIFEL1K3 by Jay Kristoff – Cricket the robot is one of the most sarcastic characters I have ever encountered and is genuinely my favourite character in this book. I need to get my hands on DEV1AT3 so I can read more about him (and everyone else too, I suppose)!

Mr. Kindly from Nevernight by Jay Kristoff – Another non-human, what can I say? Mr. Kindly is also quite sassy, but also has this interesting, mysterious nature. I also really like the idea of him – this non-cat, dark, shadow-like creature.

I do have several favourite human side characters as well, but since this post went in a non-human direction, I decided to leave it that way.

Who is one of your favourite side characters (human or not!)?
