I recently came across this amazing-sounding reading challenge for 2019, and have officially decided to join!
The Year of the Asian Reading Challenge (YARC) was created because there are SO many amazing books out there written by Asian authors that just don’t get talked about enough. The goal is quite simple: read as many books by Asian authors as you can! These can be from any year, as long as you start and finish it in 2019. That’s it! I was planning on doing that anyway, so this is really working for me.
Check out anyone of their posts for the official guidelines/rules for the challenge, and for more information about prompts, link-ups, discussions, giveaways and more!
My goal is to read 50 books by Asian authors in 2019 – that’s only around 4 books per month, so it should be very reasonable.

I will be updating this list as I read books that count for this challenge. I will also link them to either a separate review on my blog or to my Goodreads review.

I am super excited about this challenge, especially because of all of the amazing new books by Asian authors that are being released this year (I included a bunch of them in my post about 2019 releases in case you need some ideas)!
